Republican Fix

The Republicans fix another caucus in Taghkanic.

No doubt that Bill Hilscher was not going to get the nod from the Republican party after voting against the will of Supervisor Young on so many occasions. According to Young "he showed no interest in running again" Of course the story being circulated through town by the Hilscher camp is that he just wanted to give it up. That's great! that tells me we elected a quitter.
There should be no doubt in any ones mind that Hilscher was frighten off, running scared into night. As County employee he put himself up as target to be set-up and fired from his job in the Dept of Corrections, which is controlled by the the Republican party. A loss of his job would mean the loss retirement benefits, medical coverage, and salary. Seems the Republicans have not, nor are they willing, to give into democracy. It seems the are dead set on continuing their rain of terror using taxes and starvation as their weapon of choice against the people. If you think this not true just take a look at the Civil Service lists. See for yourself how people who voice opposition against the Republican party are being keep out of work.
This should be a lesson to all county residents, don't run a hired or appointed county employee on the ballot for any elected office in your town. It will only lead to a disappointment.
Lets see if Councilmen Hilscher jumps back at this article and condemns my statements and then let see if he gets promotion for being an obedient Republican.
